AUG 10th 2024 West Hollywood, California: Renowned playwright, director, actress, motivator, independent filmmaker, and best-selling author Tina Batten has joined forces with 20/20 Visions Entertainment Group to create the film "Cycle of Grace." This Christian drama tells the story of a former evangelist who must confront the burden of her sister's death in order to discover the hidden blessings within her. Directed by Joshua Coates and featuring familiar Hollywood talents, "Cycle of Grace" aspires to become a Dove-approved film centered on faith and family values. The project is currently in the development phase.
"DIVINE DIRECTION" MOTION PICTURE ANNOUNCEMENT
AUG 10th 2024 West Hollywood, California: 20/20 Visions Entertainment Group hosts an exclusive event at The Hartbeat Formosa South Building in West Hollywood. The event showcased the "If You Wait" album with a listening party for its guests as well as an announcement for "Divine Direction," a motion picture based on Charles Moorer's late son Chad Moorer who lost a battle to a rare form of cancer. The film will be directed by Joshua Coates.
Guests had the opportunity to hear a sneak peek of the highly anticipated album "If You Wait" before its global release in late August. Additionally, Charles Moorer revealed exclusive details about his autobiographical film "Divine Direction."
The film is currently in it's casting stages.
"THE SWEETS" ELVIS SHORT FILM WRAPS!"
JULY 7th 2024 Swarthmore, Pennslyvania: 20/20 Visions Entertainment Group, in partnership with the Actors Co-Op, has completed filming on the short movie "The Sweets." The film chronicles the real-life journey of The Sweet Inspirations. This background singing group gained immense popularity in the early 1960s, attracting the attention of producers, publishers, artists, and songwriters before becoming a favorite of Rock Legend Elvis Presley. Written by Sabrina L. Wright and inspired by the experiences of group member Myrna Smith, the screenplay delves into how The Sweet Inspirations ascended to become Elvis Presley's preferred girl group in the Rock and Roll realm—directed by Joshua Coates.

JUNE 17th 2024 West Hollywood, California: Renowned author, actor, and producer Carmelo Rodriguez has signed an agreement with 20/20 Visions Entertainment to bring his screenplay "Ruthless" to the big screen, a psychological horror movie inspired by his acclaimed book "Smile".
The production is scheduled to be approved later this year.
"MADONNA NON-GRATA" HORROR SCRIPT SIGNS WITH 20/20 ENTERTAINMENT GROUP.
JUNE 10th 2024 West Hollywood, California: The horror script "Madonna Non-Grata" has been picked up by 20/20 Visions Entertainment Group. Writers J.E. Tyler and Donald Edwards are working towards giving the green light to their film later this year. Casting for both SAG and non-SAG members for the horror thriller "Madonna Non-Grata" will begin towards the end of the year. With a cast of renowned talent, the film is set to be filmed in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, under the direction of Joshua Coates.

JUNE 7th 2024 Philadelphia, Pennsylvania: "The Sweets" is a short film depicting the real-life journey of the backup singing group, The Sweet Inspirations, who were highly sought after by producers, publishers, artists, and songwriters in the early 1960s, ultimately capturing the attention of Rock Legend Elvis Presley. Written by Sabrina L. Set amidst the crack epidemic of the 1980s, the narrative delves into themes of betrayal and legacy as a former Marine is forced to inherit a drug empire his father built. Hollywood Veteran John Canada Terrell also co-stars in the film.
The film introduces a range of characters, mainly a love interest portrayed by actress Angela Coates, tasked by the DEA to infiltrate, only to find herself in perilous depths. "Kingdom Reign" is helmed by award-winning Director Joshua Coates, "Kingdom Reign" commences its release with an exclusive Red Carpet Event at the AMC Rio Cinema 18 on the riverfront in Gaithersburg on March 21st. Festivities kicked off at 6pm. The double-screen black-tie affair is completely sold out as residents and supporters of the film will be descending on the RIO to celebrate and show their support. Hundreds attended.

Director-writer and Producer Joshua Coates strolled the red carpet at AMC Theatres in Maryland for the premiere of his latest film, "Kingdom Reign Vol.1." The movie, a collaborative effort between Coates and producer Theron G Johnson who sought the services of 20/20 Visions Entertainment Group, commenced production in May 2021, with filming starting in late June.
Despite delays in release due to the COVID-19 pandemic and an actors' strike in 2023, the film has now been released in select theatres and it global streaming date will be announced summer of 2024.

JULY 8, 2023: "BOOO" MOVIE WRAPS! Horror RECEIVES a spooky 2nd chance, 30+ YEARS IN THE MAKING:
It all started 20+ years ago when 20/20's own filmmaker Fetteroff Colen (who also works with mega star and comedian Eddie Murphy) set out to shoot his first independent film. During filming breaks of the 1988 comedy classic Coming to America, Fetteroff Colen would hire some of the cast and crew to assist him with filming. Actor Eddie Murphy who has no official role in the film opened his home in Bel Air California for the filming. Legendary actor John Amos who played Cleo McDowell in “Coming to America” makes a surprise appearance in the film, however because of schedule conflicts “Booo” was never released.
As of May 2023, 20/20 Visions Entertainment Group has revisited the project, rewriting, recasting and filming the remake officially wrapping in July 2023.

MAY 26, 2023: "BOOO" MOVIE GOES INTO PRODUCTION
20/20 Visions Entertainment Group completes casting for the re-make of the 1988 unreleased horror film. Leading the cast is Swarthmore Pennsylvania's own Val McAdoo who co-starred in the Oscar contending film Ageless Love. Also starring with McAdoo is the star of Ageless Love Elizabeth Caponigro actors Elaina Marin, Danny Plaza, John Fogarty, Tyler Andrews, Craig Betz and featuring starlet Grace McAdoo and Joshua David Coates. Production is set for next month.

The winners of the Directors Guild of America Outstanding Directorial Achievement Awards for 2022 were announced tonight during the 75th Annual DGA Awards at the Beverly Hilton in Beverly Hills. Daniel Kwan & Daniel Scheinert won the DGA Award for Outstanding Directorial Achievement in Theatrical Feature Film for Everything Everywhere All at Once. In a special announcement, the Guild’s First-Time Feature Director Award was renamed in honor of the late DGA President Michael Apted.
Judd Apatow hosted the ceremony for the fourth time before a capacity audience of more than 800 guests, Steven Spielberg was also in attendance.
SEPT 20, 2022: D' WIZE GUYS SHORT FILM WRAPS FILMING IN PHILADELPHIA
20/20 Visions Entertainment Group brings you the short film "D'WIZE GUYS" written by Felix Melendez Jr. The characters was created by Felix Melendez Jr. PHILLY is known as a wise guy to everyone who knows him in the neighborhood. At the age of 13 Philly was introduce to Agostino by Artie who was a kid who lived in the neighborhood. Agostino lived on 187th Arthur Ave. That area is called little Italy. Agostino kept coming around to Philly’s neighborhood and they became close friends. Philly starts showing Agostino the ropes on how to take numbers thus making money. The neighborhood got to see more of Agostino hanging with Philly. These two guys stood up to anyone and were into everything that made them a dollar. Now Philly and Agostino made a name for them self, the people start calling them D’Wize Guys.

UPPER DARBY — The 94th Annual Academy Awards is set to air live Sunday, March 27, on ABC from the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood. The voting for the final contenders took place Jan. 27-Feb. 1.
The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences revealed there are 276 feature films eligible for consideration at the 94th Annual Academy Awards event. On Tuesday, Feb. 8, when the academy announces the final few that are lucky enough to be in the running for Oscars, some local residents involved in the creation of the film, “Ageless Love,” will be holding their breath as they listen to the results.
Whether they garner an Oscar nomination or not, the “Ageless Love” film crew and cast seem thrilled and proud that the film met all of the criteria to be listed in the 276 top contender category...

“It is a period piece that takes place in the 1960s. It’s a true love story based on the life of Yale Schwartz and Nina Lemisch. Yale just passed last year, in October of last year, from Stage 4 pancreatic cancer. But he had a great story about his late wife who died in 1997 of the same illness, how they met when he was straight out of college, he was introduced to her by his aunt, she was a 38-year-old widow, with five children and the minute he saw her, he fell in love. And his family just gave him hell about it...

20/20 Visions Entertainment Group in partnership with P.U.S.H Entertainment wraps filming on the crime drama Kingdom Reign Vol. 1. The film's storyline and concept was developed by Theron G. Johnson who also stars in the film with the creative team at 20/20 Visions Entertainment Group. The film centers around a D.E.A agent Imani Bennett played by newcomer Angela Coates who goes undercover to take down the infamous drug kingpin Jamies Connors played by Theron G. Johnson.
Hollywood Veteran John Canada Terrell who is most known for his iconic role of "Flash" in the film "The Five Heartbeats" Co-stars in the film.
The film is set to release in 2024.

JULY 27, 2019: Ageless Love is based on a true story from the late Yale Schwartz, who lost his wife in 1997 and never stopped mourning her loss. The couple lived in Wayne Pennsylvania and were married for 28 years. Schwartz was diagnosed with Stage Four Pancreatic Cancer and given three months to live. His dying wish was to bring his love story to the big screen. He reached out to Joshua Coates of 20/20 Visions Entertainment Group.
This extraordinary story begins in the late 1960's during turbulent times when Yale, 23, idealistic and fresh out of college meets Nina, 37 and widowed with 5 children. Yale's parents aren't thrilled about the budding relationship, yet despite the obstacles Nina and Yale fall in love. This is a true love story of a couple who went against the social norms of their times to prove love conquers all. The Jewish couple Yale Schwartz and Nina Lemisch fought against social norms of the late 1960s to find true love and happiness. Filming was completed in two weeks (July 27th) and an advanced screening rushed to Schwartz. He would soon die after.

Speaking with the Sunday Observer, American film director Joshua Coates said the film will be 90 per cent Jamaican and requires a lot of Jamaican acts. “We are seeking a host of actors and actresses. So far we are going to need at least 10-15 supporting females, in addition to leads and anywhere from 50 to 100 extras,” he said. He did not wish to disclose the movie's budget, but shared the most of it will be shot in Jamaica and rest in the United States...
